A Cosmetic Dentist in Los Angeles for Safety During COVID-19 (and Beyond)

During a difficult time, it can seem like the last thing in the world you would worry about is whiter teeth. Having your best smile is important to your self-esteem, as well as your emotional and physical health, but it can take a “backseat,” so to speak, to other concerns in the middle of a pandemic. However, as the world starts to open up a bit and return every so slightly to normal, you may find yourself in the position of wanting to make your teeth look how you want. Dr. Mobasser, the cosmetic dentist in Los Angeles perhaps best known as “The Celebrity Dentist,” follows the ADA’s “Return to Work Interim Guidance Toolkit” to the letter.

Before you Arrive at the Cosmetic Dentist in Los Angeles

Before you come to Dr. Mobasser’s, it’s likely that you’ll have scheduled a phone consultation where you can go over exactly what you want with Dr. Mobasser or a member of the staff. Now, before you enter, a member of the staff will call to inquire about your current health status. If you’re feeling even slightly “under the weather,” you’ll be asked to stay home. Accommodations easily can be made for you to come in once you’re back up to speed. On top of that, you’ll be reminded to wear a face covering when you enter the dental practice. While we always want you to be comfortable, we strongly recommend you bring as few people with you to the practice as possible. If possible, coming alone is optimal.

How the Celebrity Dentist’s Practice will be Optimized for Patient Safety

“Social distancing” is important. That’s why the waiting room, office, and other rooms will be arranged in such a way so that no one ever (or very rarely) gets within six feet of each other. That also means that reading material and other “communal” items in the waiting area will be removed, so as to limit any potential transmission through them. In fact, the very idea of a “waiting room” may not be used. You might be asked to stay in your vehicle until the exact moment of your appointment. When you do enter, you’ll find that there is hand sanitizer and/or other CDC-approved methods of washing your hands all over. Surfaces will be cleaned with a high degree of regularity as well.
